FrameMaker 11 uninstalls Acrobat Pro


when installed framemaker 11, uninstalled acrobat pro 8 without asking. error message "setup has detected have more functional product installed. setup terminate."

is there workaround this? called tech support , not help.

if you’ve got standalone copy of fm (not part of tcs), ships “headless” version of acrobat. installer isn’t @ detecting existing acrobat versions (as you’ve found). need uninstall fm, uninstall acrobat; reinstall acrobat, reinstall fm using “custom” install option – make sure distiller portion isn’t installed second time.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
