Add-on issue (I think)


i keep getting message website wants install flash, installed , shows in control panel.  checked enabled under add-ons (says shock wave flash object, unknown publisher).  not have log in system\32 folder.

download adobe flash player uninstaller , installer directly right clicking following links , selecting "save target as".

flash player activex (internet explorer)

flash player uninstaller

save files downloads folder - do not run them yet.
reboot system.

before opening anything, go downloads folder , run uninstaller remove flash player completely.

then run installer replace flash player activex plugin ie.

 

running uninstaller (as opposed updating) should resolve issue.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
