Will Adobe and Apple work together to support Adobe CS5.5 users who can't run software on Mavericks

i thinking of buying new mac pro going released in december mavericks installed. have adobe cs5.5 software works fine on lion. after reading mavericks buggy adobe software , apparently adobe not supporting cs5.5, thinking can't buy new computer. adobe thinking can afford buy cs6 or pay monthly cloud when have invested in previous versions of software works well. seems unfair , quite shocking adobe offering no support pervious versions. apple lose lot of custom in opinion , fact adobe , apple have been working on months surprises me. apple lose lot of custom feel can't buy new top of range computer if none of current software works incidently cost me great deal of money. adobe , apple work fix these problems or expect buy software , upgrade? think if think this, least adobe offer loyal customers free upgrade cs6 or working version of cs5.5 runs on mavericks , new pro apple mac computer. thanks

there nothing unusual requirement upgrade software keep new hardware.  apple, in particular, have been ruthless upgrading os @ expense of backward compatibility.

 

adobe released cs 5.5 in april 2011.  it's not practical them go 2 generations of software , maintain compatibility new os's.  average after effects user going upgrade hardware , software regularly take advantage of new features , better performance.  if budget restraining upgrading software, suggest stick compatible hardware until it's practical upgrade both.  remember new subscription model of cc suite works out cheaper on time upgrading old fashioned way.

 

i have several clients have purchased last of apple's silver mac pro systems, tide them on few years hardware retains same internal cards , drives, plus older software, until prepared complete software , hardware overhauls, once they've assessed long-term viabilty of new mac pros, unknown quantity @ point.  same , source silver mac pro before they're gone.
