hi, i'm new ubuntu (linux in general really) , having real problem installing epson stylus sx525wd (one of in 1 things).

when had finished installing ubuntu 12.04 lts printer worked first time. i've tried use scanner , none of software recognises it.

i've done bit of searching , managed download linux scanner drivers epson site, when try install them software centre gives me error message "dependency not satisfiable:iscan-data" thought i'd cracked until happened.

if can me working forever in debt you. dont want have go windows thinking might end having

what program using scanner? i've used xsane before had download additional package drivers particular device.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
