not sure address to, i'm plopping down here
torrent.ubuntu.com webpage have downloaded lubuntu 12.04 alternate , lubuntu 11.10 alternate.
when run checksum on 11.10, returns

neither install, , return multiple "missing stuff" messages.

12,04 version downloaded 3 times, , wasn't until after second burned disc wouldn't load got suspicious , checksummed.

i'm kind of stuck this, because need computer megasquirt tuning, means megatunix, means preferably ubuntu os. , i'm pretty sure need @ least 11.10, because comes driver need wifi dongle have, , computer i'll using doesn't have network socket, phone jack.

yeah, thinkpad 600x. perfect size, durable, , it's in "outdated, worked last time looked" box.

so, working copy of lubuntu, preferably torrent, because live internet service unreliable, torrents required complete download of size.

you may need direct download. if torrent has downloaded incomplete file on , on again fast bittorrent may be, not working in instance. other alternative try torrent download again , again until works, because should downloading different parts different peers every time.
if using same torrent file every time, torrent file may corrupted. try deleting current file , downloading again, downloading full torrent.
