Error of "Could not save (file name) because write access was not granted

error of "could not save (file name) because write access not granted. users pulling files mountain lion server. have read\write access. if try save file in same directory error can save anywhere else on sharepoint. if save in directory reopen make change , save can save original directory. has else come across same issues

it not recommended save directly server there lot of unknowns there.  best save locally , copy server.
