Thread: RTL8188CE realtex wireless, new in 12.04


i having significant problems internal wireless in notebook, toshiba. card in question rtl8188ce. network connects, after while hangs no connectivity, although nm claims there connection.

error appears occur shortly after syslog reports wpa rekey

wpa: group rekeying completed with...

although "after" appears 1 or 2 minutes.

it's quite pain. have found no fix yet, other unloading , loading kernel module. existing connections broken in process. 10 minute connectivitiy @ time quite issue.

new in 12.04, far can tell. network appeared okay before upgraded 11.10, although, of course, cannot repeat experiment.

i'm looking solution same problem. seems pretty common. bought new toshiba c855 school , haven't been able use ubuntu partition since got because need internet when i'm on pc. if come across let know.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
