PDF files open "Black"


i on mac, (not all) pdf files open black.  have downloaded adobe reader 10.4.  in adobe settings have "display pdf documents in web browser" locked down system administrator.  problem?  if yes, how fix it?  if not, else there--this driving me crazy!

the "display pdf documents in web browser" disabled expected.

 

what osx version, safari version , exact adobe reader version?

is possible share problamatic pdfs or url pdfs?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
