What can be done when my ISP is down and a Cloud payment is due?


i love adobe products. i've been using them since late '80s. make living using adobe products. i've owned single programs , master suites, , i've been on cloud since started. i've got major problem in in location in smoky mountains, there's 1 isp reaches home/office. it's small operation, , service can intermittant, on weekend. have no 1 in office 5pm friday until 10am monday—tech support voice mail.

 

okay, weekend operation down shortly after walked out door on friday. had shut down @ same time. saturday, fired on job due today, monday. photoshop , illustrator main workhorses project, photoshop wanted "license" cloud subscription (or whatever once or thrice month). dutifully went webside complete transaction, since internet connection down, refused access programs. of them. every stinking one! went through things in case problem @ end of connection, turned iphone , went account on adobe cloud site.

 

seems can't make progress there either!

 

so, entire 2 , half days (monday morning being shot to... wherever) i've been unable work because cloud has no access in case of internet interuption.

 

i vehemently object kind of system! frankly, sucks! enjoy frequent updates programs, lot happier if have disk program on it. program might go previous release or upgrade, , might not have latest bells , whistles, @ least keep on working. $600 year cloud access lot of money fork out that's fragile. lost money , client confidence weekend because couldn't job done. have guess i'm 1 of hundreds of people caught in kind of morass due 1 kind of problem or another. it's not system.

 

give break, adobe! know you're ball in playground, can't play?

a cloud payment should automatically deducted credit card on file , not affected isp outage.

 

licensing phoning home , checking see if authorized use products story. 

 

supposedly cc needs phone home every 3 months check if you’re licensed, that’s not happens, people have authorize every time ps, multiple times day, or @ least every time reboot—this seems happen me.

 

i agree adobe needs either fix wrong, or @ least relax authorization little, give people chance resolve things before being locked out.

 

in case, since business relies on cc being authorized, might time check tethering option through phone or wi-fi hot-spot when internet isn’t working.
