Video driver crash, gpu sniffer hogs cpu on surface pro 2


i'm using ps cc on surface pro 2 - when starting ps system message stating video driver has crashed.

this not problem, ps cc runs anyway.

 

the problem task gpu sniffer, keeps running , hogging 1 cpu, burning away battery.

 

i know need new video driver, there none available. how disable gpu sniffer now? annoying have kill process after every start of ps.

i have seen 1 post user went registry , disabled it.  not fainthearted, , may affect getting updates ps might see error.
