Thread: 10.4--Text in topmost menu bar bleeds together


i upgraded 1 step 12.04 dual-boot pc. screwed unity, here have resolved few moments ago. leaves 1 outstanding issue:

@ top of screen there thin bar (menu bar?), , @ left contains text reading: ubuntu file edit view go help. problem text run together, words jammed on top of 1 another. clicking on bar sort out, other times no. other have no screen resolution issues or problems. have ideas on why happening, , how fix?

i fixed changing color scheme.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
