Updated display driver now Photoshop continually crashes


hi

 

due issues, told hp support update display driver. have amd radeon hd 7950 since installing this, photoshop cs5 extended , 64-bit keep crashing. i'm given error:

 

 

photoshop cs5 has stopped working

 

photoshop has encountered problem display driver, , has temporarily disabled gpu enhancements. check video card manufacturer's website latest software.

 

gpu enhancements can enabled in performance panel of preferences.

 

 

 

well have latest software problem?

 

please help!

if updated anywhere else amd have outdated drivers.  should catalyst 13.9 current.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
