Thread: transmission broken ubuntu 12.04 TLS


brand new install.
ubuntu 12.04
opened torrent transmission , fails connect.
time unknown 0% , stalls
error connection failed
network tab test port - port closed.

worked previous versions of ubuntu

behind firewall uses pat

installed deluge , have same problem.

know network has not changed, leaves me figure out different between torrent clients on 12.04 , other versions of ubuntu worked fine.
p.s.
not have permission create tags. may use existing tags.

find existing tags

seriously thinking not using ubuntu 12.04

created static nat mapping box - no avail
allowed specific incoming port in firewall.

test if port open - reports port closed

did netstat - , can see port listening

@ point if bitorrent going remain unusable may roll earlier version of ubuntu.

went canyouseeme.com

, reports ip , port can seen.

locally can telnet selected port

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
