Thread: 'history' so it shows all activty for user ?

[12.04 server using bash]

start multiple, simultaneous, ssh sessions via putty logging on same user, 'foo'.

when

code:
history
i see commands issued on tty (i think - don't see command used user foo across each of ssh sessions).

there way of getting around ? have access history generated each of ssh sessions.

(i seem looking command know issued under user foo several days ago time ssh session has been closed)

i think way "history" command works shows history of commands executed in shell (your original local shell). once ssh shell have execute "history" command on specific shell. don't think history carries on between shells. in fact, if have 1 local shell open , open new tab local shell, history different each tab.
maybe else can confirm pretty sure correct. let me know find out.
