Thread: D Partition gone


hi everyone.. i'm new @ linux wanted try it. during installing ubuntu stoped installing.. tried many times, same thing.. tried deleting windows , install ubuntu, same thing.. decided put windows xp , don't remember i've done fix error did it.. couldn't install windows coz says windows can't installed @ partition ntfs or fat32 that... fixed problem on c drive , don't remember anymore how... , d partition missing.. i'm thinking same problem it. mean need convert d drive shows in computer i'm not sure.. anymore experienced before?

i'm confused. have ubuntu on computer or not?
windows can read off ntfs , fat32 partitions, if want access ubuntu partition, luck (unless told ubuntu use ntfs rather ext4).

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. (you have if have cross compiled app windows) https://live.gnome.org/gtkmm/mswindows (2) run these commands create proper directory structure. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
