FCP 6 XML file has inexplicable failure to open in PPro CC.


hello,

 

i'm trying open xml fcp6 , keep getting mentoned "this project appears damaged, cannot opened".

 

now odd thing this, was trial run colleague has not got time learn ppro , still larking around fcp. trying become familiar how shall cope xdcam media. fcp have encode media form fcp can read. using xdcam transfer within fcp.

 

i wanted check how have relink media non-encoded xdcam media. (the answer question simple, frustrating - have re-link manually - think)

 

so gave him 1 xdcam file, standard file structure , asked him make single sequence 1 or 2 cuts. export version 4 xml.

 

nothing make blasted xml file work. has provided me 3 different xml files. none of them work.

 

however, when boot old hd, fcp6 on , use same xdcam media, can export version 4 xml opens in ppro cc without problem.

 

so annoying problem occuring?

 

i have read through 80 100 lines xml see difference there are. can't bothered further.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
