Thread: Good Macro keyboard


dear all,
know of keyboard has macro keys works pretty off bat ubuntu (12). i'm not 1 messing around having create/maintain/installing custom scripts unless through software center or adding ppa. (i dont want create myself more work/maintenance if goes wrong)

means macro keys 'hardware' based rather 'software based' reading sidewinder x4 apparently 'software based' , far i'm aware people hadn't got 100% working custom scripts yet...

ideally want map keys writing set texts or trigger custom script. (ie if map macro keys key bindings in 'compizconfig settings manager' ideal)

keyboard coding purposes, not gaming if makes difference, anti-ghosting , glowing backlight plus.

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
