Thread: 64GB SSD and 2x3TB RAID0 ISSUE after installation

i installed ubuntu 12.04 desktop on 64gb ssd without problems.

configured via onboard raid 2 identical 3tb drives operate raid0 @ 128 stripe @ max size.

once ubuntu booted up, goto disk utility , shows 3 drives on sata host adapter [raid mode] showing too. reports each drive 3tb 3tb , 64gb expected. however, under peripheral devices 1.6tb hard drive appears.

@ time of installation when had option chose disk install to, noticed reported 1.6tb drive , 64gb ssd.

plan install os on ssd , use raid0 2x3tb drives file storage.

when un-raid 2 3tbs 1.6tb disk goes away...

how can ubuntu recognize raid array 6tb should?
