Missing/changed adjustment sliders for DNG files


i new lightroom. wondering why, when open dng files in develop module, basic tab different when develop raw/nef files? nef files there sliders shadows, highlights , clipping dng different - blacks, recovery, fill light. etc.. why , there way make basic tab same both (both nef basics tab)?

your dng files include older develop settings, it's respecting existing settings.  recovery , fill light sliders part of older process version called pv2010.  can update new pv2012 sliders going histogram panel , clicking lightning bolt icon, or going calibration panel , selecting 2012 in process pop-up.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
