Thread: Grapics error for hp pavillion


hello,

im having problems getting ubuntu type linux (32 or 64-bit) on computer using usb memorystick (this sameone i've used windows 7 on machine), there seems somekind of graphics error 2 desktops have melted together.

comp. specs:
model: hp pavilion dv6731eo
memory: 2048 mb
processor: amd turion 64 x2
hd ype: s-ata 150
storage capability : 250 gb
resolution: 1280x800
graphicscard: nvidia geforce 7150m

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
