FR: 'Sticky' solo settings in Audio Meters window

when record video, assign wireless mic feed channel 1 (left) on camera, , set channel 2 (right) on-camera boom mic backup/ambience sound.  while editing, workflow send bunch of clips premiere pro's source monitor, , set in/out points in source monitor , send selected clip ranges timeline.

when viewing clips in source monitor, hear both audio channels when in fact want hear main channel, 1, of time.  can fixed clicking little 's' icon @ bottom of left channel on audio meters window solo channel 1.

here's problem: every time switch new clip in source monitor, solo button toggles it's default off setting, means have keep clicking on 's' icon every new clip load in source monitor.  fact can before drag , huge time waster doesn't need explaining.

here's solution: make solo settings in audio meters window 'sticky'.  in other words, continue soloing left or right channel until user actively turns soloing off.

before send adobe official fr this, wondering: current 'auto-off' behavior benefit premiere users?  perhaps there's kind of obscure benefit i'm not aware of, make case we'd best served preferences menu option make solo 'stickiness' user selectable setting.  sharing thoughts!

you can achieve desired behavior defining audio channels ahead of time.  can reverse on clips in sequence if need be.
