Thread: The connection was reset


i have 64-bit ubuntu 12.04 installed. used login website (chess.com) since few days ago message:

the connection reset

connection server reset while page loading.

site temporarily unavailable or busy. try again in few
moments.
if unable load pages, check computer's network
connection.
if computer or network protected firewall or proxy, make sure
firefox permitted access web.
this case in firefox, , chrome. friend of mine confirmed me website working fine , access it. , can access many other websites , facing no issues except website.

tried switching use tls 1.0 option suggested didn't fix it.

can suggest way fix issue?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
