Dual Machine - Auto-Switch FFS.


ok, who's used concept more 24hrs figure out fast having "home" , "work" machine concept isn't hard predict.

 

here's proposal. instead of asking me sign in freaking time can't tick box on t/c says "leave me logged in" , when use software @ home automatically switches of license @ work , vice versa. it's exact same code you're using without prompts , butt covering or "education under duress"

 

to recap

 

  • as customer want able use software @ home , @ work not concurrently can retain semblance of work / life / balance.
  • as customer don't want have login every time start cc software @ either end. nuke secondary party automatically because i've ticked magic "nuke other comptuers" checkbox in terms & conditions , others majority of time dont read anyway.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
