Missing templates and Encore wont play


my issues encore 2 things.

 

1. ----

i cannot anythimg "play" in timeline, not pushing play using monitor, or using simulator.  projects work normally, have no way preview them @ all...so feel im flying blind.

 

2. ----

___ in effort fix above issue - trashing preferences etc.  eneded see below - no library items:

im running:

encore cs5 (fully updated)

a 27" imac i7

macos 10.9

 

i tried new admin user no resolution of either issue.

 

i uninstalled full sweet, including preferences re-installed no resolution <<<--- surprised me missing components concerned.

i thought there possability encore cs5.x not compatabile 10.9 (where playing concerned) sure un-install , re-install have fixed missing library components ............. so...........

.....im baffled

depending on whether have disk or download file install, installation may or may not have installed library files.

 

based on seeing library sets options, preferences not set correct library location. weird many reasons.

 

edit -> preferences -> media. confirm/change location encore appolications folder , "library" folder within that.

 

are running encore 5.0 under osx 10.9? or exhibited problems , uninstalled/reinstalled trying work?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
