How to swap primary and secondary displays?


i'm using lightroom 4 on shiny new 27" imac , have old dell 24" display, not led backlit, secondary display. both have been calibrated spyder 3. preview photos on imac display default , use edit controls on old dell display setting pain in butt , won't return configuration after quit lr , open again.

 

even when right-click on dock in os x mavericks , select "options/desktop on display 2" splash page on display 2.

 

is there way make lr open default on system's secondary display (dell 24") , use imac lr's secondary display?

i have same problem:

i use older imac hp display (a good, calibrated one). imac dock sits , use main display. use lightroom on hp display colors more accurate. not in dual monitor mode, regular. since upgraded mavericks, lightroom starts on imac display , want start on hp display.

i haven't found solution yet...

it's impossible select things dock stated above ("even when right-click on dock in os x mavericks , select "options/desktop on display 2""). option not there.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
