Created pattern does not show up on other documents?


hi there,

 

when make pattern on document , save it, shows fine. when go to  other documents, doesn't show on swatch list document (it shows on swatch palette made pattern). doesn't show if make new document.

 

am doing wrong?

nothing wrong on part,  how swatches work. if every swatch created got added swatches, have lengthy worthless swatches list.

 

now if pattern plan use often, can make part of swatches new documents. edit new document profiles.

/users/(yourname)/library/application support/adobe/adobe illustrator cs6/en_us/new document profiles/print.ai

 

 

to pattern existing document, copy filled pattern swatch, , paste not destination document.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
