hi, converting dvr video files mp4. problem can't play dvr files on pc. that's why want convert them mp4.

you need know format files in. dvrs encrypt data , there isn't known way break encryption. other dvrs encrypt, there ways gain access underlying media.

of extremely dvr specific.

so, let's start these questions:
* make, model, , device version of dvr using?
* tv content recording? satellite? cable? premium cable (i,e. cablecard?)
* how dvr connected pc? purely video/audio or via firewire connection or on ip network?
* know codecs used files? mpeg2, mpeg4, avc-1 ... there many others.....
* file extension?

until know information and tell us, can't help.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
