Thread: external hard disk -boot partitioning !!!

hello all,

have pc win 7, work reasons can't make changes in boot or system it,

have external 1tb hard disk,

1st question is: can make 100g partition , install bootable ubuntu 12 on it, how system boot specific partition in external hard?

2nd question is: can make 2 partitions each 100g , install bootable ubutn 12 on 1 partition , install bootable debin on other ?
want test both of them, if possible how boot ubntu partition or debin partion ...!!!...???

thank much,

if have external disk connected when install ubuntu, automatically install grub disk, rendering bootable.

whether or not boot depends on pc booting external drives. typical boot entry in pc bios settings usb-hdd.
