Thread: Unable to use my wireless data card on Ubuntu 9.10


hello friends,

beginner in linux field.i have installed ubuntu 9.10 in system , want use wireless data card on it.somewhere on net read need wvdial package in order so.so,i downloaded wvdial.deb package showed lots of dependencies on other packages.now .deb packages best option me can executed making double click on them.but problem not able find place on net can desired .deb packages.please guide me , suggest link can download .deb package need.if not best way please guide me how can become expert in handling installation of packages in ubuntu system.

that because ubuntu 9.10 no longer supported. reason use such outdated version? current version 12.04, long-term support release.
