Thread: Lenovo B570e drops connection after 2-5 min,


hello guys!

can't solve problem own. wireless connection drops after 2-5 min.
try turn off "power management", switch wicd, disable encryption, nothing works

lenovo b570e
ubuntu 12.04 lts
atheros communications inc. ar9285 wireless network adapter (pci-express) (rev 01)

else can do?

disable hardware encryption of "ath9k" driver:

change encryption wpa2 only.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
