Adobe Photoshop CC lags on Macbook Pro when moving layer content around

hi,

 

we bought new macbook pro laptops last friday , got adobe photoshop cc , adobe illustrator cc. works pretty fine, except moving layer content eg. images or fonts around bit behind, slow/laggy, without apparent reason.

 

this happens despite external screen connected or not. happens or without power adapter connected. have brand new mac os mavericks , 16gb ram performance should not problem.

 

i hope can out, digital agency , lot of graphical work. in advance.

i'm having same issues. same spec machine. photoshop cc.

 

the slowdown , lags driving me crazy. got better performance 7 year old imac.

 

the macbook pretty out-of-the-box. hardly other installs apart suite of cc apps.

 

glad know i'm not one. tips improve performance gratefully received!
