Thread: To low on memory to send crash report...


i keep getting message:

"sorry, program "chromium-browser" closed unexpectedly

computer not have enough free memory automatically
analyze problem , send report developers."

run xubuntu on older compaq v5000 laptop (v5209 precise) celeron m cpu , 1 gb of memory. message when total memory usage around 20-25%. use xubuntu because supposed on older machines. think 1 gb more enough ram.

ideas?

i run xubu on older computer half ram yours, , it's nice , quick, no issues yours. perhaps it's chromium thing, it's unlikely statement, "your computer not have enough free memory automatically analyze problem , send report" is case.

try experimenting browser (midori awesome now, suggest one) , see if still have same issue.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
