tried install mysql on ubuntu gave me error:
sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned error code (1)

welcome.

bit more information in order able you.

version of ubuntu using? how did try install it, e.g. via software centre, synaptic, apt-get?

there other messages preceding 1 mention? if didn't make note, run again , post output in full.

1 possible cause if root partition full, there many other possibilities.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
