...i'm not sure broke, or why, lately don't seem able play warzone2100 longer. never starts, leaves me message above, , nothing happens.

x broken, or there problem?

the error means game trying run in resolution that's not supported x server. can try run game in window, rather full screen, see if helps.

(1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
