hello, purchased hauppauge wintv hvr-950q tv tuner. while managed (after work) working kaffeine player in ubuntu, want have working windows media center. this, created virtualbox virtual machine windows 7 32-bit atop ubuntu 12.04 host. however, despite getting windows 7 , running, virtualbox doesn't seem pick hauppauge tuner under usb devices (or seemingly, anywhere under devices menu). put in hauppauge cd try install drivers in windows vm, doesn't detect connected hauppauge tuner can't install drivers. more of question of, how virtualbox pick hauppauge tuner, if doesn't show under usb devices? thank you!

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
