HPX-370 P2 Metadata Support and Adobe Bridge

i'm having trouble getting adobe bridge write metadata files generated panasonic hpx-370 p2 camera.

the company work requested come digital asset management plan new video. let me preface saying, i'm shooter/editor, not data manager.  since buying hpx370, research pointed adobe bridge being perfect solution adding metadata in form of keywords our videos make our video database searchable.

now camera in-hand, have been unable alter metadata through adobe bridge.  here issue.  every time go add keyword or change metadata on 1 of mxf video files within bridge, stock response is: the file "filename" cannot store xmp metadata.  no changes occur.

i thought easy find fix to, not ton out on net specific problem.  doing wrong here?

if can't fixed on end, added feature?  how request feature addition?

a view problems here, first of not many regulars (me amongst them) familiar movie files.

bridge not seem support mfx files in bridge preferences file type associations.

and in general, not file types able write xmp data (keywords, iptc etc) to, don't accept it.

another possibility seems don't have read , write permissions files, folders or disk files on. files might been locked (but should show small lock icon above thumb.

also try page:

and maybe better, drop question in dedicated premiere pro forum:

http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere

and while bridge perfect application workflow needed pre process , process not in dedicated dam functions, maybe try @ third party applications can handle movie files better bridge can.
