i'm running ubuntu 12.04 , when opened laptop came across message

code:
mount: mounting /dev/disk/by-uuid/998b5c87-d40c-42ob-a2ob-a2ce-d7aa1d3e4be on /root  failed: invalid argument mount: mounting /dev on/root/ dev failed: no such file or directory  mount: mounting /sys on/root/ sys failed: no such file or directory  mount: mounting /proc on/root/ proc failed: no such file or directory  busy box v1.18.5 (ubuntu 1:1.18.5-1ubuntu4)
here things tried fix problem

on step 4 error
code:
fsck util-linux 2.20.1 fsck: fsck.ntfs: not found fsck: error 2 while executing fsck.ntfs /dev/sda1
any tips , ideas on how fix this?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
