Thread: Preseed and local mirror / apt-proxy


hi,

im trying install ubuntu using pxe preseed, run in problems while using approx apt-proxy.

@ first, preseed , apt-roxy worked lucid. approx working fine under 12.04, in connection preseed got problem.

i'm using

d-i mirror/country string manual d-i mirror/http/countries string manual d-i mirror/http/hostname string 10.0.2.101:9999  # aproy d-i mirror/http/mirror    string    10.0.2.101:9999  # approx d-i mirror/http/directory string /ubuntu/ d-i mirror/suite string precise  d-i mirror/http/proxy string
in preseed-file.

after installation used 'debconf-get-selections --install' find used values. see,
code:
d-i mirror/http/mirror
ist overwritten with
code:
d-i mirror/http/mirror  gb.archive.ubuntu.com
how can fix this?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
