CS6 Photoshop Update Option Does Not Run


i ran update option once, acr 8.2 version. looked files downloaded , update process started. nothing.

 

- clicking update has no effect. there absolutely no error messages.

- downloading acr 8.2 file , trying run adobepatchinstaller.exe file nothing.

- removing adobe application manager (aam) cache accomplished nothing.

- trying run aam nothing.

 

a popup message informed me there 9 adobe updates available , launch aam. which, of course, accomplishes nothing.

 

a support person on live chat said known issue.

 

what need known solution. i'm running win7 pro, sp1, 64-bit, 8gb ram, geforce gt 630 nvidia chipset graphics card.

when cc came out revised aam.  have old copy or new?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
