Thread: How to delete launchers from taskbar in 12.04?

in ubuntu 12.04 pressing , holding alt not working!

same original poster. son when website (naturally without permission) , have 4 globe icons (meaning internet) on taskbar. tried rid of them going each icon's properties, there no delete. tried editing them out...no dice. came forum , found post , proposed solution holding 'alt' button doesn't work mentioned.

appreciate solution rid of these launcher icons.

furthermore, 1 of reasons switching ubuntu (over ms windows) away spyware / malaware , virii. thought linux impervious kind of spyware or malware. why these icons created on taskbar in first place?

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
