Thread: help with Asus X101 ?


i have problem:

meego operating system on asus x101 eu17-bk not support 3g. in trying download ubuntu 12.04 either usb stick or online informed archive cannot created; archive type not supported. can please here?

you need create bootable usb thumb drive in order install ubuntu on netbook. i'm pretty sure meego doesn't have utility so. if have access computer running window or ubuntu, can use unetbootin to create bootable device. available in ubuntu repositories.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
