Thread: Help changing from wubi to just ubuntu


hello everyone:
first post. yay!. ok that's over. i'm new ubuntu , linux in general. last night downloaded wubi (windows installer) , life of me didn't realize dual boot , not ubuntu. i've looked through ubuntu on netbook (gateway lt21) figure out how rid of windows, i'm not seeing it. have uninstall wubi , redo whole process or there way?

by far easiest way, if want ubuntu, boot install cd , select option use entire drive. erase drive , repartition it.

there way "move" wubi installation separate partition, it's involved , worth effort if need retain dual boot windows (section 8.8):

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
