how do I get a menu or header to span accross full screen?


i want menu , header colour fill full screen when site viewed on large/smaller screen spans accross screen. have browser fill image this, header , menu not expanding full screen. have pulled menu bar colour , header area edge of browser/page , still stays fixed size.

 

please let me know i'm doing wrong? or how this.

menu widgets can't span 100% of browser width - edge snapping thing not work menu widget (among others).

 

however, can place rectangle behind menu can span across browser width, , fill image can fill browser width. can use rectangle , fill header background , keep menu background , stroke none bounds not seen. way able fake browser wide menu items centered on page.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
