Thread: Install Wordpress on Home folder


hello,

trying install wordpress via terminal following help.ubuntu.com/community/wordpress guide, problem have moved localhost folder home folders avoid permissions.

so apache2 knows find installation folder, make symbolic link apache2 www folder:

sudo ln -s /usr/share/wordpress /var/www/wordpress
i changed path home localhost folder, worked fine still have problem on next step:

sudo bash /usr/share/doc/wordpress/examples/setup-mysql -n wordpress localhost
terminal directed me open browser showing: '/var/www/localhost' continue setup of wordpress.
need do?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
