For Guides & Grid: Make rectangular (4:3, 16:9, etc.) units possible


problem

right difficult align 4:3 , 16:9 artboards grid since today, square grid units possible.  annoying because when grid , artboard don't align, laying things out grid becomes pretty useless.  snapping grid , moving objects arrow keys annoying because object move couple times per unit (once when 1 side aligned, , again when other side aligned).  yeah, math , figure out how divide 1280 x 720 squarely, that's hard. 

 

solutions

one solution give ability specify different vertical , horizontal subdivision numbers.

the other give presets grid units square, did math us.

yes yes yes! great idea! +1 on this!!!

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
