Upgrade Photoshop CS3 to Photoshop CS5 Extended


i purchased adobe photshop cs5 extended upgrade windows, thinking have no problem upgrading version. did not realize wasn't compatible photoshop cs3 until tried install today. there anyway can install upgrade without having purchase new program?

there should no issue regarding compatibility between 2 versions... functionally independent of each other.  there might compatibility issue computer operating system if anything, in case less newer version going work better.  maybe misworded description of problem?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
