Error popup in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI


i keep getting error popup message reads:

 

adobe acrobat updater has not been able check updates recently. check online see if solutions available adobe website.

 

it has checkbox hide message.

 

i've seen on forum turn off notifications won't know updates. have current version of 11.0.05

there might chance either security software blocking adobe search updates on internet or issue computer while communication on network being redirected path everytime.

you may try reset internet explorer default settings . http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737.

also can try rename host file on computer : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034

or can download update manually adobe com , install : http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=windows

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
