Thread: BIND question


hi,

i'm trying set vps (ubuntu 12.09 webmin , bind installed) nameservers.

i've registered 2 ns @ registar:
ns1.domain.com , ns2.domain.com using 2 ip addresses have available on vps plan.

now, here's question, can't ping ns1 , ns2.domain.com, there else should doing on server? i've created ns1 , ns2.domain.com entries under domain i'm not sure.

appreciated. i'm not system admin if suggest should taking 3rd party dns rather configuring vps nameserver i'll take i'm trying learn bit..

hi, if developing platform independent software in linux using gtk+/gtkmm , you've managed cross compile windows, guide you. i'm posting because after researching topic myself, encountered many posts people have abandoned gtk+/gtkmm wxwidgets because of gtks ugly default appearance in windows/wine. gtk+ themeable in windows/wine gnome. have set correctly . . . here's how. guide gtkmm gtk+ similar. (1) firstly, download , install gtkmm windows using wine. Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
