Premiere Pro 7.1 serious Multicam Editing problems


hello, posting here because bug report filed 1 week ago adobe didn't give result -no response @ bug department.

 

i have 2 serious multicam editing problems.

 

pc configuration: core i7950, asus p6td deluxe, 12gb ddr3 1600mhz, quadro k4000, ssd system, seagate constellation 7200rpm video editing.

 

1. when multicam mode on @ program monitor, press play , program doesn't respond @ all. timeline plays till end , program doesn't let wait until playback of whole timeline over. program works again (no "not responding" message in windows).

 

2. the waveform doesn't appear at multicam audio clip. read in other forums problem found @ premiere pro version 7.1 (october release).

adobe doesn't typically respond bug reports, nothing unusual there.

 

however, may not bug because behavior see is unusual, meaning can't duplicate on either of 2 systems , it's not being reported.  more it's wrong system.  but...let's see if can figure out what.

 

what kind of media being used here?  mc sequence created manually or using right click>create multi-camera option?  how many camera angles?  gpu acceleration on or off?  mc sequences give trouble?

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
