Premiere Project Stops Functioning with RED files


i should first don't know if red files have problem.

 

i've been editing project day. close premiere cc , come back, , timeline thumbnails on sequences distorted. when try play sequences, audio plays fine , play head scrolls across nothing's wrong. no video playback, however.

 

moving playhead different spot on on timeline show correct image in project preview window, after several (10-15) seconds. if play sequence long enough, frozen image in preview window change , then--it's it's having hard time processing footage.

 

the problem have been working on project day no playback issues @ all. whole thing shut down.

 

i started new project , imported failing project it--sequences, footage, everything. new project worked couple hours...and same problem came back.

 

anybody have clue what's going on? i'm bit worried since edit (of course) super fast turnaround, , can't work on when it's doing this.

i'm using red rocket card (just updated firmware), , footage on drobo playing via ethernet. footage plays in redcine no problems. i'm confused on one.

my first inclination footage fast, internal drive.  maybe raid.

Thread: Twinview issues

hi all, recovered white screen of death having reinstalling nvidia drivers via command line in recovery mode. when rebooted after that, fine, except 1 of monitors not displaying anything. ran sudo nvidia xconfig, created conf file me, issue not resolved. in x server settings, secondary monitor (the 1 not displaying), detected , enabled in twinview, resolution not detected , screen black. if try switching workspaces, little window showing workspaces show second monitor sitting next monitor, same in x server settings. options have resolving this? lot!
